Licensing Pathway

    Meet the prerequisites

    Be 18+, eligible to work in Canada, and have a clean record. Complete a Ministry-approved 50-hour training course.

    Pass the Ministry exam

    Sign up and pass the Ministry of the Solicitor General's licensing exam for private investigators.

    Apply for your licence

    Submit your application with proof of training, exam results, and identification through the ServiceOntario portal.
